This year is bringing with it some interesting and innovative gadgets from Vaio’s 3D laptop to Sony Ericsson’s PSP phone. The list is based on 12 most awaited gadgets anticipated to launch in 2011.

The phone has expected launch in February 2011. It features android 3.0, 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM, 3.7-inch or 4.1-inch screen and MicroSD slot.

Nintendo 3DS is a 3.53-inch widescreen gaming console with 800-by-240-pixel resolution, glasses-free 3D, two rear-facing cameras (0.3 megapixel) for 3D imaging, one front-facing camera for head tracking, touchscreen, stylus inputs, ad hoc multiple-device Wi-Fi connection and 802.11 Wi-Fi. The new generation Nintendo 3DS, can be played without the need for special glasses. The chief executive Satoru Iwata told a news conference in Chiba that it will debut in Japan on February 26 and cost 25,000 yen (290 dollars) and will be available in US and Europe markets sometime in March. The currently available versions are the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi which sell for about $130 to $170.

Panasonic is introducing company’s smallest and lightest digital interchangeable lens system camera with flash. Even more, the LUMIX GF2 is compatible with Panasonic’s new 3D interchangeable lens, the LUMIX G 12.5mm / F12, so users can take 3D photos. The camera has touch-screen LCD with a 460,000-dot-resolution. The main features include: 12-megapixel resolution, 3D still image support, 1080i and 720p video capture, RAW, JPG, mostly touchscreen controls and 3-inch touchscreen LCD. It is expected to be available in market in early 2011. The camera pricing will be announced approximately 30 days prior to shipment.

The one-panel touchscreen, WebOS 2, touch and stylus inputs featured Hewlett-Packard WebOS Tablet will disclose it’s features at a media briefing on 9th February. A competitor to iPad, the new WebOS-based device would be about the same size as Apple’s iPad, but it would run on an updated version of Palm’s highly regarded WebOS, the smartphone OS in a tablet is anticipated to be a big winner for HP, and may pose a credible challenge to the iPad. It will be available in market sometime in march this year.

This thin and light laptop from Asus is ultraportable. The product has hit the market with Core i3 or i5 processor, NVIDIA Optimus graphics, a four cell battery for ten hours of battery life. It has a 13.3 inch LED backlit screen, Intel Core i5-460M CPU, 2GB of system RAM, 500GB 7200RPM hard disk, HDMI output, USB 3.0 port, and Windows 7 Home Premium. It’s priced at $1000. A competitor to the Dell Adamo and the MacBook Air, at 0.75 inch the U36 is slightly thicker than either the Air (0.68 inch) or the Adamo (0.65 inch).

Apple hasn’t yet confirmed the second-generation iPad, but the company has put in the request for its Asian partner Foxconn to produce and ship the second-generation iPad within 100 days, with plans for a spring 2011 release, most probably April 2011, according to a Taiwanese publication. The news is a rumor as the company has not made any public statement but the company also has a habit of updating its other prominent iOS devices–the iPhone and iPod Touch–every year. There’s no reason to expect its handling of the iPad to be any different.

The 10-inch touchscreen Samsung Galaxy Tablet is hitting the market with the latest Android 3.0 OS (Honeycomb). It is expected to launch in the first half of 2011 as the General Manager of Samsung Ireland announced the launch of the tablet in early 2011. It will also have V8 JavaScript engine.

In an interview the head of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business division, Peter Moore told the press that the production team from the Xbox 360 is working on the next Xbox 720. There is no more news about the shape, specs, pricing and launch date of the new product.
