My Modern Metropolis 3D Gallery Art

If you never believed in the saying, "From tragedy to triumph," then you haven't heard the story of Daniel Arsham. In 1992, Arsham experienced a devastating hurricane that broke apart his house and nearly killed him and his family. Rather than wallow in self-pity, the calamitous experience became an inspiration for his art. An idea arose - that nothing is indestructible and that everything is vulnerable and has the potential of being destroyed.

Daniel Arsham is new type of artist, his work brings together multiple mediums which include performance, dance, architecture and art. His forms are pure, linear, elegant and, curiously, three dimensional. Arsham uses illusions to make his masterpieces feel magically alive.
